This quilt is machine pieced & quilted using some 40 different fabrics. It was the winner of the Oast Quilters Challenge, 2006. My adaptation of Louisa L. Smith’s ‘Strips & Curves’ technique.

About The Artist
Avril Windrow been doing Patchwork & Quilting, on and off, for about 40 years. In the last 15 years, I’ve slowly become more addicted, especially now there are so many wonderful books, gadgets and fabrics available. In recent years I’ve sold items at the Hever Castle Quilt Show and to customers I’ve met during and after local shows. I am a member of the ‘Quilters Guild of the British Isles’ and the ‘Oast Quilters’, a 200 strong group of E.Kent quilters.
